Forage Grasses Print with Rustic Blue Stripe Frame 10x8in
Forage Grasses (1871)
This detailed botanical illustration is a high-quality digitally enhanced reproduction from Nouvelle Iconographie Fourragère: histoire botanique, économique et agricole des plantes fourragères et des plantes nuisibles qui se rencontrent dans les prairies et les paturages, authored by Jean Gourdon and published in Paris in 1871. The artwork showcases forage plants important to 19th-century agriculture, reflecting the era’s scientific dedication to botany and pasture management.
Each frame design is meticulously hand-painted and printed onto pure cotton, wrapping the frame’s exterior in artisanal charm. This handcrafted process ensures every frame is uniquely yours, with subtle variations adding to its character. Designed for versatility, all frames come with fittings for both wall mounting and standing. Additionally, the mount and glass panel are removable.
Outer Frame Size: 9x7 inches, with a Mount Aperture of 5x3.5 inches
All prints are printed on the highest quality 270gsm archival paper, ensuring exceptional durability and clarity. This premium paper preserves the vibrant details of the artwork, offering long-lasting quality.
